Enhanced Admin/User Web-Portal

This user-friendly interface allows the administrator to log on and manage customer accounts and also an array of value-added messaging services via the Web. The administrator can also provide an interface to end-users to be able to manage their accounts online.

Residential Account Management

With the IPsmarx Class5 Softswitch, administrators can easily set up and manage SIP accounts, enabling their clients to connect using an IP phone, mobile softphones (Breeze), softphones, or SIP adapters.

Call Waiting

This feature allows customers to receive a second call while they are already using the phone line. They can put the current call on hold and answer another incoming call. They have the option to go back to the previous call whenever they like.

Call Forwarding

This module enables customers to have calls forwarded to another number or branch extension. Calls can be forwarded under a specific condition, such as when an extension is busy or when calls are not answered. For example, if customers are expecting a call while they are out of the office, they can forward their calls to their cell phone.

Unconditional Call Forwarding

This feature allows customers to forward or transfer their calls from their IP Phone to another IP Phone or even their home or cell phone number. Since this feature is an unconditional forward, calls will be forwarded to the destination in any circumstance.

Three-Way Conferencing

The VoIP server offers conferencing services for businesses and residential customers. This feature is available to any SIP customer including SIP IP Phones and SIP PC2Phones.

Music On Hold

This feature allows service providers to play music, advertisements, or custom messages when calls are on hold. The prompts are fully customizable so providers can also use this feature to play marketing messages and news while clients wait to be attended.

Voicemail Plus

IPsmarx Class 5 server provides all the functionality required to deploy a full featured voice messaging solution to all enterprise, SOHO, and residential users. IPsmarx Voicemail interface is user-friendly and includes a Web interface to manage settings and mailboxes.

Unified Messaging

This feature allows IPmsarx Softswitch owners to inform their customers when there is a new voice message waiting for them. E-mail receipt informs them any time they receive a voice message.

E-911 Emergency Service

This feature allows IPsmarx customers to support emergency services E-911. Calls to emergency numbers are located by integrating with a third party E-911 Service Provider that will collect all the customers’ information and answer all 911 calls at its own call center. Then, the call center forwards the call to the right emergency service provider.

IP Video Support

Using this feature, IPsmarx Softswitch clients can offer an IP-based video service with high-quality video streaming and secure conference embedded encryption. IPsmarx IP Video allows video signals to be captured, digitized, streamlined and managed over IP networks. 

 

Calling Card Module

Multi-level Callshop Module

The IPsmarx Callshop Module enables service providers to manage multiple callshops or “internet cafes.”  This module also allows the Callshop owner to issue invoices to customers, check CDR and Profit/Loss reports online.  The Callshop is a multi-level module so Callshop owners can have resellers of Callshops, resellers can have agents, and agents can have end-users.  For more information, click here.

Direct DID

DID (Direct Inward Dialing) is an emerging technology that has created new business opportunities for service providers.  With the IPsmarx Direct DID Solution calls forward the DID directly to the IPsmarx Softswitch.  The Softswitch initiates a PSTN based call and directs the call to PSTN or GSM based destinations, without routing through an IP phone.  The calls are placed using a landline phone eliminating the need for an IP phone or internet access.  Additionally, service providers can provide international calls at local rates. 

 

DID2IP Module

DID2IP takes a real phone number (Landline or Cell phone) from a DID provider and forwards the calls to a client that has an IP Phone.  More than one DID number can be assigned to a client.  This service can be provided as a free or chargeable service.  This feature also works with other add-on features such as the Class 5 Server.

Redundancy

Redundancy is a key component in a fully-featured Softswitch.  The Softswitch must continue functioning at full capacity in the event the primary Softswitch is rendered unavailable.  In the event of a natural disaster, the importance of individual, business and government communications become more critical as the chance of failure to the communications infrastructure increases. 

IPsmarx has created a solution to this problem by deploying an intelligent fully-redundant Softswitch offering continuous replication for unmatched resiliency and reliability without user intervention. 

 

Least Cost Routing

Least Cost Routing is a tool that ensures your calls will go to the lowest cost carrier in your end point carrier list. Through this module you can run LCR and the system will automatically create a Dial plan for your call routing.

 

Invoicing

With this flexible invoicing module, carriers can send bills manually or automatically, define the frequency of each bill, and export the invoice to PDF format, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Word. The IPsmarx invoice formatting tool allows adminstrators to customize the format of their invoices and with unified invoicing, all services that are offered through the IPsmarx platform can be listed on one invoice.

Package Billing

With this feature, carriers can create monthly calling plans and define unlimited minutes or a determined amount of free minutes to specific pre-defined destinations. For example, a carrier may offer a flat fee for a specific number of ports per month.  

 

Auto Recharge

Carriers can offer hassle-free account management to their customers with the auto-recharge feature. The IPsmarx solution will automatically recharge the account when the balance reaches a pre-defined amount. This feature is only availabe in the United States using Authorize.net merchant account.   

 

E-store

The IPsmarx E-store module is an E-Commerce Solution that is fully integrated with our billing platform. Configuration with a supported merchant account is also included in this module. Using the E-store, you can offer fully automated sign up and online payment for your customers as well as a user portal with access to payment history, call detail records, and account recharge. Design of the front end of the E-store (your homepage) can be fully customized to your company and brand by a certified web designer.

Reseller Management

With the IPsmarx Unified Reseller Management modules, Administrators can sign up resellers to promote any of their VoIP services. Administrators can define their own reseller program and set permissions, such as sharing or limiting access to the different services they can offer, re-assigning customers to different resellers and allowing resellers to add funds to customers' accounts. There are four types of reseller modules available within the IPsmarx platform, allowing Administrators the flexibility to define their own unique reseller program.

    Usage Based Reseller Module

    A Usage Based Reseller will get compensated through a commission structure set up by the Administrator. This commission can be based on a percentage or a flat rate or both and the commission can be based on long distance calls as they are placed or at the end of the monthly bill. The Usage Based reseller will be able to login to their own interface to manage their customer accounts, but they can only use the service selling rates assigned to them by the Administrator when registering a new account. Reports like CDR, Commission and Balance report can be also available to them if the Administrator has allowed it. If the Administrator allows it, resellers will be able to see and manage each other’s customer accounts. Resellers can also sign up their own subagents.

    White Label Reseller Module

    Using this module, Rate Based Resellers (white label resellers) have the flexibility to define selling rates for their customers and agents, and their agents are able to define their own selling rates for their customers. This module allows the reseller to set up their own selling rates based on predefined buying rates. The Rate Based Reseller will be able to login to their own interface to manage their customer accounts and create their own service selling rates. Reports, such as CDR, ASR, ACD and Customer Report are also available to them as well as invoicing (as long as the Administrator has this feature enabled). This type of reseller traditionally has their own brand, company name, and logo that is displayed on their own website.  

    Pinless Reseller Module

    The Pinless Reseller module is available to compliment the Payment Based Reseller module. Resellers can utilize this module to sign up customer accounts or recharge customer’s account balance by just retrieving a customer’s phone number and the number they registered will be automatically assigned to the pinless feature. The pinless reseller module offers the advantage of faster registration for when resellers are located in a fast paced customer service environment, such as a convenience or grocery store. The Administrator will have access to the Pinless recharge report for details about total amount recharged per pinless reseller, profit and other information. 
     

    Reseller E-store

    This feature enables your resellers to have their own branded website. They can display their own logo and their customers can use this complete E-commerce solution to sign up and pay for their services.

H323 Support Module

For end point carriers who support H323 only, this module can be added to the softswitch to allow interconnection. The correct port for each protocol can be assigned automatically. This can also be changed manually to any port requested by the end point carrier. Fast start capability is another benefit of this feature. SIP and H323 protocol conversion is supported as well. 

 

Hunt-Stop & Route Suspension

Our reliable Hunt-Stop feature offers peace of mind for carriers that have multiple providers established. For example, if a carrier has three providers, but one provider’s buying rates are more expensive than the selling price for certain destinations, the IPsmarx system can be configured to send calls to the first two carriers and then stop to avoid losing funds. Using Route Suspension, carriers can decide to stop sending traffic to a specific route, to avoid high cost or poor quality.

Auto Provisioning

SIP devices, such as IP phones and adapters are automatically configured using the Auto-Provisioning Module. IPsmarx Auto Provisioning simplifies the installation of a device by transferring the configuration requirements between the provisioning server and the IP phone automatically. The effortless IPsmarx Auto-Provisioning feature for Softswitch is an auto-installation system that consists of two basic functions: learning and setting the IP address and downloading the configuration file, including username and password, for the IP phone. When the IP phone is switched on, the phone connects with the provisioning server, where it is assigned a unique IP address. Some of the popular brands supported by IPsmarx Auto Provisioning include Cisco, Grandstream, Linksys, and Polycom.

Multi-Dial Plan Module

With the Multi-Dial plan feature, you can have multiple dial plans that are each assigned to a particular service you offer. For example, you could offer two different tiers of VoIP service - a “Premium” quality service and a “Regular” quality service. Each route is able to offer different qualities, yet remain part of the same overall dial plan. This could also be used when testing new carriers, ensuring live traffic routes are uninterrupted.

 

SIP Card Module

The SIP Card Module allows the System Administrator to generate a batch of residential SIP accounts and export the list of SIP login/passwords information. This information can then be printed on cards. The end user will be able to configure their IP phone, any SIP device or their Softphone with the SIP registrar information to hold an account for Call Termination using VoIP.
